Horses
©Diamond West ArabiansWhen we moved from Nashville to the Northwest in 2008, horses became another great love. Arabians especially won me over with their intelligence, athleticism and wonderful personalities! Today, I breed Arabians with classic “Old World” conformation, specialize in barefoot hoof trimming and handcraft clinician-quality rope tack.
HC Elitist, Arabian Stallion
My Arabian stallion, HC Elitist, was sired by Pogrom, a decorated international champion whose titles include:
- Scottsdale Unanimous Champion
- Las Vegas Arabian Breeders World Cup Gold Champion
- United States Unanimous National Champion
- Polish National Gold Champion
- Recipient of the WAHO (World Arabian Horse Organization) Trophy for outstanding achievements in the Arabian breed
HC Elitist's Foals
Elitist consistently passes on his athletic conformation, intelligence, and willing, easy-going temperament to his offspring. Demonstrating wonderful versatility across breeds, he has been beautifully crossed with Purebred Arabian, Quarter Horse, Rocky Mountain, Appaloosa, Welsh Pony, and Saddlebred mares.
Training
I use Natural Horsemanship training (inspired by Clinton Anderson, founder of Down Under Horsemanship), with beautiful results.
Clinician Quality Rope Tack
I handcraft the highest-quality rope tack in a wide variety of colors. Primarily 14' lead ropes with leather poppers, rope reins, and 4-knot halters and side-pulls in complementary colors.
